P21, a national organization advocating
\nfor 21st century learning, has designated theBallston Spa Central School District’s Clean
\nTechnologies & Sustainable Industries Early
\nCollege High School<\/b> (Clean Tech ECHS) as an
\nExemplar School.<\/p>\n
This nationwide initiative identifies models
\nof exemplary 21st century learning practices
\nthat are preparing students for success from
\nacross the U.S. The program shares case studies
\nof schools and districts that have successfully
\ntransformed student learning through innovative
\npractices.<\/p>\n
Program evaluators were on-site last spring
\nand met with students, parents, business partners
\nand staff as they conducted their evaluation
\nof the program. Programs are evaluated based
\non criteria in the areas of college and career
\nreadiness, educational support systems, engaging
\nlearning approaches, student access to 21st
\ncentury learning, student acquisition of 21st
\ncentury knowledge and skills, and partnerships
