His main supplier is Erie Insurance Group. He also sells policies from Travelers and Progressive insurance companies.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->O&#039;Brien said he emphasizes customer service, including making house calls.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I am trying for a small-town feeling,&quot; he said. He knows that customers can buy policies online, but tries to offer them something more in the way of service and personal attention.<\/p>\n<p>The business came about almost by chance. O&#039;Brien said a good friend, attorney George Lamarche, had suitable space available in his office building. It happened at a time when O&#039;Brien was ready to strike out on his own.<\/p>\n<p>O&#039;Brien is a New York state-licensed broker for property and casualty and life and health insurance.
