The Bundle Store has a new location at 1789
\nRoute 9 in Clifton Park. Nestled in between Exit 9
\nand Exit 10 of the Northway, owner Amber Chaves
\nsaid the move from Ballston Spa allows for more
\nspace and other positive changes.<\/p>\n

Chaves said going from 300 to 1,700 square feet
\ngives the store a better way to showcase its goods
\nand more space for classes conducted for mothers.
\nThere is also more parking.<\/p>\n

“Before we could only offer on-street parking and
\nclasses sometimes held outside, because of space.
\nNow we have the room that we need,” said Chaves.<\/p>\n

Chaves opened The Bundle Store in 2013. The
\nbusiness expanded, but has managed to stay true
\nto its original purpose. Chaves said the reasons
\nwhy she started the company are still what is most
\nimportant. She wanted to give parents a safe place to
\ngo for advice on baby carrying and natural products
\nfor infants, such as cloth diapers.<\/p>\n


\n“Sometimes the only resource a new mom
\nmay have is Internet reviews of a product. We sell
\nproducts and answer questions in a completely
\njudgement-free environment,”said Chaves.<\/p>\n

The Bundle Store specializes in “babywearing”
\nand cloth diapering. Babywearing, said Chaves, is a
\nstylish way of wearing a baby carrier that best suits
\nboth the parent and baby. The store also specializes
\nin natural products and handmade items. Every
\nitem in the store is hand-selected for quality and
\nsafety.<\/p>\n

Chaves and her staff of five also offer classes
\nand resources for both pregnancy and motherhood.
\nThey also offer pump rentals, gear cleaning,
\nand registries.<\/p>\n

“We research products so that parents can spend
\nless time reading labels and more time enjoying
\nyour pregnancy and baby,” said Chaves.<\/p>\n

Chaves is a pediatric occupational therapist with
\nover 12 years of experience working with children
\nand their families. She is certified in babywearing
\nthrough the Babywearing Institute and holds additional
\ncertifications in the area of pediatrics as
\nthey relate to the first few years of life. The other staff
\nmembers include a music teacher and a pre-natal
\nyoga instructor.<\/p>\n
