G-BOX Gym opened in February at Clifton
\nPark Center Mall.
\nLocated between Primal Butcher Shop
\nand Sterling Optical in the mall’s outside
\nshops, the G-BOX Gym occupies roughly 2,300
\nsquare feet.
\nOwner\/operator Glenn Brown said the
\nopen gym concept involves no contracts and
\nno startup fees.<\/p>\n
He said it features top-of-the-line pro
\nseries Olympic strength and conditioning
\nequipment. There are heavy bags and speed
\nbags for hard-core boxing; cardio equipment
\nconsisting of treadmills, elliptical machines,
\nbikes; and there is an indoor athletic turf
\nfor explosive calisthenics, plyometrics and
\nathletic training.<\/p>\n
“Our only focus is to make sure you achieve
\nthe goals you set for yourself when you come
\nto train,’ said Brown.<\/p>\n
“You will find that the
\nG-BOX Gym supports an open design concept
\nas everything needed to train is all-in-one
\nlarge space.”<\/p>\n
Brown said the gym provides elite fitness
\nand sport-specific trainers who possess a high
\nlevel of education and experience in their
\nareas of expertise. “Whether you’re a prime
\nathlete looking to become stronger, faster
\nand more agile or an individual aspiring to
\nachieve authentic health and fitness, their
\ntraining will be customized to your individual
\ngoals. ”<\/p>\n
Hours are Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to
\n11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
