Information on membership will be available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> * * *<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Saratoga National Bank and Trust Co. ha<\/b>s announced plans for a 10th location.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The bank is leasing space at 251 State St., in Schenectady, formerly a First Niagara Bank branch and currently home to the NYBizLab business incubator. The office will feature a full range of financial services, as well as a drive-up ATM and teller. Pending all regulatory approvals, it is expected to open later this year and will result in three new positions, including a manager and two tellers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Schenectady office is Saratoga National Bank\u2019s fourth new location in five years and its first in Schenectady County. This follows expansion to Rensselaer, Albany and Southern Saratoga Counties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> * * *<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><!--more-->Rebuilding Together Saratoga County<\/b> has been awarded several large grants to help finance critical health and safety repairs for low-income homeowners in Saratoga County.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Officials for the organization said the grants will enable it to provide health and safety repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners in scattered sites across Saratoga County, at no cost to the homeowners. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Efforts will be focused on homeowners living in traditional, stick-built homes who are older adults, individuals living with a disability, families with children or active or retired members of the armed services. These repairs will preserve affordable home ownership for the households and ensure a safe and healthy living environment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Interested homeowners or referral agencies can request an application by phone at 587-3315 or email T&#114;&#105;&#x63;&#x69;a&#64;&#82;&#84;&#x53;&#x61;ra&#116;&#111;&#x67;&#x61;&#46;o&#114;&#x67;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> * * *<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On Sunday, May 21, <b>Saratoga Casino Hotel<\/b>\u2019s community outreach team, Hands For Hope, joined Dottie Pepper and <b>Rebuilding Together Saratoga County<\/b> to clean up the 9\/11 Memorial Site at High Rock Park in downtown Saratoga Springs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A handful of casino team members were present to assist with the afternoon cleanup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Pepper, a former LPGA Champion and Saratoga native, spearheaded the project four years ago. She and over 30 volunteers did some spring cleaning that included raking, cutting down vines and planting new flowers around the memorial at High Rock Park, which features actual steel taken from the World Trade Center site after 9\/11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Hands For Hope was created in the spring of 2016 to encourage Saratoga Casino Hotel employees to get involved in local causes across the Capital Region. Previous events included a site cleanup at AIM Services in Saratoga, and delivering supplies to Saratoga\u2019s Code Blue Henry Street location before the winter season. The next \u2018Hands For Hope\u2019 event will assist the Franklin Community Center with a picnic benefiting their Project Lift program.
