Restaurant Associates is a subsidiary of Compass Group, The Americas Division.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to the agreement, the expansive catering and business dining empire created by Mazzone will henceforth operate under the banner Mazzone Hospitality LLC. All jobs will remain in place and Mazzone will continue his leadership role within the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The investment will provide the resources, systems and capital to enable Mazzone Hospitality LLC to expand its operations locally and regionally, and pursue opportunities with large institutions, including hospitals, universities, senior living facilities and major corporations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The announcement follows a nearly four-decade career in the hospitality industry, beginning in 1980 when Mazzone opened Peggy\u2019s, a small restaurant in downtown Schenectady. The business expanded in 1988 with the purchase and restoration of Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. Presently, the Mazzone Hospitality portfolio includes seven premier restaurants, an expansive catering division, and a robust corporate dining program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI\u2019m excited to announce this partnership because Restaurant Associates shares the same core values that we do, and will provide us with the infrastructure, systems and capital to sustain and expand upon the level of growth we\u2019ve been so fortunate to achieve. We will continue to deliver unmatched events and dining options, while being in the best position possible to create moments and memories that last a lifetime.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mazzone Hospitality LLC will continue to oversee catering operations at the Albany Capital Center and Empire State Plaza, as well as a number of the Capital Region\u2019s premier event venues and banquet facilities, including 90 State and Cornerstone at the Plaza in Albany; Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs; Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park; Key Hall at Proctors in Schenectady; and its flagship property Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. The division will also continue to cater private weddings, fundraisers, and corporate or social events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Officials said Mazzone Hospitality, LLC will also continue to operate food services at Excelsior College, GlobalFoundries, Golub Corporation, Hearst Media Center, Hudson Valley Community College and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, among other locations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The majority of the restaurant properties will remain closely-held by Mazzone and operate independently of Mazzone Hospitality LLC, he said. These include Angelo\u2019s 677 Prime, Aperitivo Bistro, TALA Bistro, Fish at 30 Lake, and Prime at Saratoga National.
