She said the move is reflective of the soul of the business, and being outside of the mall has been a positive change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The new location provides Williams and her staff a place to flourish. Their passion for people is part of their success.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cWe knew it was time to leave. I have been in this industry my whole life, so I can sense when an opportunity seems right. When the opportunity arose to move into the new space, I thought to myself, \u2018You can do this,\u2019\u201d said Williams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The new space is about 2,000 square feet, which is actually smaller than the previous space. But Williams said it is more intimate. She said she and her staff like to get to know their customers and the new space allows for that connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">She said a grand opening held late last month brought in a lot of familiar friends, as well as many new faces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Valentino\u2019s is known for the $10 Tuesday haircut, which Williams said is something they are continuing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><!--more-->\u201cThat is something that will never, ever go away. When we began the $10 cut years ago, I immediately knew I would always offer it, no matter what,\u201d said Williams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Williams feels that any successful business is all about building relationships. She and her nine other employees don\u2019t just offer beauty services, they care about making sure that their clients feel good about themselves. Williams said her<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>new location is the perfect spot to offer that type of caring service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Williams said she loves that they work with every demographic, offering all types of services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cWe do everything from a baby\u2019s first haircut to extensions,\u201d said Williams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Valentino\u2019s Hair Salon offers haircuts, coloring services, facial waxing and hair extensions. They will be soon offering eyelash extensions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The salon at 56 Marion Avenue is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">They take walk-ins or customers can make an appointment by calling 587-9369.
