The resulting establishment is about twice the size of the previous space.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan McFadden, proprietor of the taproom, said that things are \u201cgoing really well,\u201d a few weeks after opening the new space. The expansion allows them to host private parties, he said, and to expand their food menu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a more comfortable space,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Chef Matthew Weeks will have a new menu ready in early November. McFadden did not yet have the details, but he does expect double-patty burgers to be a feature in it.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The patio, partly indoors and partly outdoors, has a covered roof. It is designed for three-season use, but can be heated for use in the winter as well, said McFadden.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion has brought with it an addition of servers, hosts, and kitchen staff, of about 30 percent, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Henry Street Taproom features craft brews, both locally sourced and from around the world, McFadden said.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is open seven days a week: Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight; Friday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 2 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>They can be reached at 518-886-8938.\u00a0 Its website is henrystreettaproom.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Jill Nagy The Henry Street Taproom at 86 Henry St. in Saratoga Springs has expanded its dining area into space next door formerly occupied by Pizza Works.
