Brain injury is complex, often impacting physical and cognitive abilities.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It is extremely important for professionals working in this field or with children in any capacity to understand the complexity of the issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Professionals and specialists in the fields of brain injury medicine and rehabilitation will come together to learn about advances in treatment, network with other professionals and gain access to cutting-edge research and information. The new format will also provide an opportunity for educators, athletic trainers \u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00adand other professionals working with youth to gain knowledge about childhood brain injury and how to navigate healthcare systems during different stages in the individual recovery process.<\/p>\n<p>The live program will feature four modules focusing on the following presentation topics: youth rehabilitation; transitioning to school; success in school and transitioning to adult services and supports.
