According to the new owners, the property is well positioned competitively and provides guests with a strong location to access the fantastic activities and attractions in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The property will undergo capital improvements and more activities will be introduced, the company said. There is also the possibility to expand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Richard J. O\u2019Brien, chief executive officer and founder of Athena Real Estate, LLC, said he was \u201cextremely pleased to acquire Saratoga RV Park, which is in a wonderful location for us. We are expanding our RV park and resort portfolio as well as our footprint. This is our first RV park in New York state. We are continually on the hunt for high quality RV parks and resorts to purchase across the United States.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">O\u2019Brien said the park \u201cprovides significant synergies with our other outdoor hospitality assets falling under the Applebrook RV Parks brand.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Athena Real Estate, LLC is a real estate investment and advisory firm focused on specialty collateral types, including RV parks, manufactured housing communities, and self-storage facilities. It currently operates 21 commercial properties and an RV dealership. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Located in Danbury, Conn., the company\u2019s operating philosophy is to obtain premium returns by acquiring niche property types where focused management can provide a competitive advantage. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Athena was founded in 2004 by O\u2019Brien, who is a former executive of a mid-cap public REIT and a large real estate financial services and investment company.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Athena Real Estate LLC has acquired Saratoga RV Park, a 154-site park located at 4894 Route 50 in Gansevoort.
