Elliott Masie, an international learning analyst and curator, hosted 38 corporate leaders from around the world at his Learning Innovations LAB last week in Saratoga Springs.
\nAs business and work changes, the format and style of workplace learning must innovate to leverage new technologies and methodologies to upskill employees, according to Masie.
\nMasie spent two and a half days with learning leaders from organizations as varied as Marriott International, FM Global, Textron, UNICEF, PricewaterhouseCoopers, 3M, Oracle, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Hanesbrands, Morgan Stanley, and others as they explored the latest innovations in the learning and tech field.
\nThey examined the hope and also hype of AI, robotics, personalized learning, machine learning, chatbots, and more. Several CLOs and industry analysts interacted with the group via live video interviews throughout the LAB.
\nMasie, who is credited with helping to launch the world of eLearning as well as leading learning conferences and the learning consortium over the past 28 years, is focusing his efforts on real-time LABs that safely and bravely enable learning leaders to experiment with emerging learning innovations.
\nMasie Learning LABs are three-day, \u201cdig deep\u201d learning experiences that Masie hosts. They are intended to provide a vendor-neutral exploration of the changing learning field, experimentation with emerging and changing models, and live video interviews with CLOs and other learning leaders.
\nHis next LABs, at his Learning Center at 95 Wasington St., Saratoga Springs, run later this month, as well as in April and May.
