She received in B.A. in sociology from SUNY Albany and holds an A.A.S. in criminal justice from Hudson Valley Community College.<br \/>\nShe operated the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs for 38 years and has served on numerous boards and committees in both business and philanthropic circles. Hollowood served on the City of Saratoga Springs Zoning Board of Appeals, chaired the Next Step Downtown Redevelopment Committee and currently represents the city on the Saratoga Race Course Advisory Board.<br \/>\nO\u2019Toole has lived in Saratoga Springs for the past 18 years. She grew up in New Jersey and received her B.A. from Northeastern University in Boston. Her work will also support Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. and Upstate Agency LLC in South Glens Falls, parts of the Arrow family of companies.<br \/>\nMcDannold has more than 30 years of financial services marketing, communications and public relations experience at Capital Region financial institutions, most recently at Kinderhook Bank.<br \/>\nOriginally from Loudonville, she earned a liberal arts degree from Hudson Valley Community College and currently lives in Waterford. She holds a board position and is past president of the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Corp.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>Two area business owners were among 13 honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) at a graduation ceremony for its Emerging Leaders program.<br \/>\nNick Patterson of Dig Deep Chiropractic &amp; Massage in Clifton Park and David Sowinski of Miss Steel LLC in Mechanicville were honored in Albany on Nov. 20.<br \/>\nThe SBA program is made possible through support from local partners including the Albany Small Business Development Center, Arsenal Business &amp; Tech Partnership, Capital Region Chamber, New York Business Development Corporation, and Northeast NY SCORE Chapter.<br \/>\nEmerging Leaders provides free entrepreneurship education and training for executives of small, poised-for-growth companies that are potential job creators. The executive entrepreneurship series includes nearly 100 hours of classroom time. His recent endeavors involve the use of 3D computer modeling and imaging.<br \/>\nHis role has been in creating a vision of what a project beholds for better understanding by clients, stakeholders, municipalities, and consultants.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Disha Mookherjee, a fellowship-trained cardiologist with extensive expertise in women\u2019s heart health, has joined Saratoga Hospital Medical Group \u2013 Cardiology.<br \/>\nMookherjee comes to Saratoga Hospital from St. Luke\u2019s Hospital in Duluth, Minn., where she was the founding director of the Women\u2019s Heart Clinic. She also served as director of St. Luke\u2019s cardiac rehabilitation program and echocardiography lab.<br \/>\nA fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Mookherjee earned a medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and a cardiology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.<br \/>\nMookherjee is board certified in cardiovascular disease with subspecialty certifications in nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography. She has a special interest in preventive cardiology, heart disease in women, meditation, navigating grief and the role of integrative medicine in healing the whole heart.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>Tara Anne Pleat of Wilcenski &amp; Pleat PLLC with offices in Clifton Park and Queensbury, was elected to the board of directors of the Special Needs Alliance.<br \/>\nThe Special Needs Alliance is an invitation-only organization.
