Sundaes Best donated chocolate to medical staff at the Wilton Medical Arts and Urgent Care, as a way to honor those who work on the front lines, facing the challenges of the virus outbreak.<br \/>\n\u201cWe simply thought it would be a nice thing to do, and it was so well received by the staff,\u201d said Camarro.<br \/>\nNext, Camarro plans to deliver Chocolate Farmer dip and pretzels to each hospital department, with the help of her husband and co-owner Jeff Shinaman.<br \/>\nThe two have had to adjust the business after realizing that they would not be able to market the product in venues that would normally bring in revenue. Camarro said she is thankful for her wholesale business.<!--more--><br \/>\n\u201cThe current status of our world has left us feeling vulnerable, like all small businesses. We are eternally grateful for the grocery chains who carry our product, especially right now,\u201d said Camarro.<br \/>\nShe and her husband have been selling the products made from family recipes for almost 19 years. They are available in hundreds of stores across the country and internationally. The products are all simple and all natural, using locally sourced ingredients, something Camarro said sets their products apart.<br \/>\n\u201cI remember being in the store at one time and looking at the back of a chocolate dip and seeing so many unnatural ingredients, thinking, \u2018This is not chocolate,\u2019\u201d she said.<br \/>\nCamarro said one of her goals during the \u201cpause\u201d is to work on things like her website. \u201cI am usually used to having no time, so I guess with life slowing down a bit, it\u2019s a good time to do it.\u201d<br \/>\nSundae\u2019s Best offers its product through online orders and curbside pickups.
