{"id":37673,"date":"2022-07-11T13:55:28","date_gmt":"2022-07-11T17:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/?p=37673"},"modified":"2022-07-11T13:55:28","modified_gmt":"2022-07-11T17:55:28","slug":"pepsi-pledges-up-to-455000-over-10-years-to-support-programs-at-saratoga-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/saratogabusinessjournal\/2022\/07\/pepsi-pledges-up-to-455000-over-10-years-to-support-programs-at-saratoga-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Pepsi Pledges Up To $455,000  Over 10 Years To Support Programs At Saratoga Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pepsi Beverages Co. recently pledged up to $455,000 to support key Saratoga Hospital initiatives, including programs that provide affordable care for the underserved, services to prevent and treat substance misuse, and nursing education.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201cPepsi has long been a wonderful partner to Saratoga Hospital and our community,\u201d said Mary Solomons, executive director of Saratoga Hospital Foundation. \u201cThousands of patients each year benefit from programs that Pepsi\u2019s generosity helps make possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The 10-year pledge continues Pepsi\u2019s traditional support for two annual Saratoga Hospital fundraisers: The Gala, which benefits the hospital\u2019s Saratoga Community Health Center, and the Golf Invitational for the hospital\u2019s nursing scholarship program.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <b><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s2\"><!--more--><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>Funds also are earmarked for the hospital\u2019s Interdisciplinary Opioid Management Program, which seeks to reduce the use of opioids for chronic pain relief.
