The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association<\/b> will hold its 20th annual \u201cThe Way We Were\u201d car show on Sunday, Oct.\u00a0 <\/span>9 on Front Street.<\/p>\n The event typically draws over 400 show cars. Organizers are anticipating a large turnout for the 20-year anniversary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to cars and trucks, there will be food and merchandise vendors, a kid\u2019s zone with a bounce house and activities, live music and a trophy presentation at the end of the day.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are really excited for this year\u2019s show,\u201d said Dan Barner, car show committee chairperson. \u201cIt\u2019s always a great event that brings people downtown to support our businesses and it is an important fundraiser to support the excellent work that the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association does. We\u2019re doing our very best to make it extra special this year in celebration of the show\u2019s 20th anniversary.\u201d<\/p>\n Pre-registration for show cars is now open. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are also currently available for businesses and organizations that would like to be a part of the show.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The event is free to spectators. The recognition is part of Cornell\u2019s New York State Milk Quality Improvement Program.<\/p>\n Cornell University collected samples from New York state plants in October and May. The samples of whole milk, 2 percent, 1 percent, and fat free milk were scored on various criteria, including best flavor. Milk samples are judged on microbial analyses, fat determination, freezing point and flavor.<\/p>\n Stewart\u2019s works with 20 local dairy farms to source raw milk.
