High Rock Wine and Spirits, owned by Ron Murphy and Daniel Munn, will open this month at 2149 Doubleday Ave., Ballston Spa.<\/p>\n

The store will be sharing a location with Murphy and Munn\u2019s existing businesses, High Rock Realty and High Rock Property Management.<\/p>\n

Each business partner has over 30 years of experience appraising, selling, and managing real estate in the Capital District, and they are now applying their business acumen to wine and spirits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For Murphy, the startup of High Rock Wine and Spirits is a return to his roots. He said his grandfather owned breweries up and down the East Coast. It was the family business throughout Murphy\u2019s childhood, and it has always been an interest of his.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>The Adirondack-themed shop offers a wide selection of wines and spirits, \u201cincluding ready-to-drink cocktails, tequila, and whiskeys that are big right now,\u201d said Murphy. \u201cIn time, we want to grow the selection of higher-end and New York state-produced wines and spirits.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
