Community members may hang new or handmade hats, scarves, mittens, gloves and socks on the Mitten Tree at the Visitor Center, 297 Broadway.<\/p>\n<p>Donations will support CAPTAIN Community Human Services, Franklin Community Center and Shelters of Saratoga. The program has become a longstanding tradition, providing hundreds of warm winter items to local residents in need.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour thoughtful donations make a lasting impact in our community, especially during difficult times,\u201d said Director Karen Verrigni. \u201cThe generosity of our region is heartwarming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><span class=\"\"><b><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s2\"><!--more--><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>The Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special holiday hours apply for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year\u2019s.
