The awards recognize achievements in tourism marketing and destination stewardship across New York and will be presented Sept. 17 in Corning.<\/p>\n<p>Discover Saratoga received an award for its public relations program, developed with Travel Alliance Partnership; an award for its \u201cTrip Ideas\u201d trails and itineraries, developed with LIFT Marketing; and a sustainable stewardship award for Chowderfest, developed with Sustainable Saratoga.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly honored to be recognized by the New York State Tourism Industry Association with three Tourism Excellence Awards,\u201d said Darryl Leggieri, President of Discover Saratoga. \u201cThese awards reflect the creativity, dedication, and collaboration of our team and partners, who work every day to showcase Saratoga County as a premier destination. We\u2019re grateful to NYSTIA for this recognition and remain committed to creating innovative marketing initiatives and memorable visitor experiences that strengthen our local tourism economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt seems that each year the standards of excellence recognized by the NYS Tourism Excellence Awards &amp; Summit are both elevated and evolved,\u201d observed Bob Provost, President of the New York State Tourism Industry Association. \u201cThey reflect the increasing sophistication of the visitor industry and the enlightened perspective of the intricate ecosystem of the visitor economy. The addition of Tourism Excellence Workshops in 2025 further enhanced the attendee experience, enabling them to learn from and appreciate the significance and relevance of the work being recognized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><span class=\"\"><b><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s2\"><!--more--><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>The awards are open to tourism professionals and organizations statewide.
