Can you recall the first day of each season of the show, “The Biggest Loser”? The new contestants walk into the gym for the first time and instantly display panic in their eyes. They may have never been into a fitness facility before. They tell us how they feel scared, intimidated, ashamed and inadequate in those first weeks.
About 10 years ago, this is exactly how I felt when I walked into my first Spinning class. I was out of shape and wanted to lose about 40lbs at the time, but I was up for the challenge!
My studio was designed to make everyone feel welcome – from triathletes to folks that want to lose 100 pounds. Everyone starts somewhere. No judgement, no competition, no excuses. So, if you are new to the studio or if you are making a big comeback, we welcome you with open arms!
“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
