It’s no secret that summer is the busiest season for restaurants in this area. With crowds of people eating out each night, it can be tricky to find a table. That’s why we are so excited to announce that a new restaurant, Loca Luna Mexican Grille, has opened in Ballston Spa! And having a new place to get delicious food isn’t even the best part about this new place…
Of course, the fact that all the food is prepared fresh daily is a big allure, but what is even better about Loca Luna is its sense of community. The Ballston Spa restaurant has only been open a month, but it has already found ways to give back. Owners Rebecca and Michael Kane have partnered with local organizations through their Cheers to Charity program. Every month they will select a special cause, and $1 from each Drink Special sold will be donated to that charity. This month, they have chosen Floyd Warriors, a local cancer support program.
But that’s not all Loca Luna does for the community. Every month it will host a “Full Moon Extravaganza,” where they will feature local artists and performers. The next party is June 15th, and after the first Full Moon Extravaganza’s great success, you don’t want to miss this! Great food, wine tasting, and a casual summer atmosphere…what more could anyone want?
Loca Luna recommends making reservations, but they also offer take out. The Mexican eatery is open Tuesdays through Sundays for dinner starting at 4, and their menu boasts a plethora of traditional Mexican food, as well as some American cuisine. There is something for everyone at Loca Luna. Grab some amigos and check the new place out for yourself!
