Looking to take in a show? The Local Actors Guild was founded in 2006 by JJ Buechner, and has produced numerous plays and musicals including Nunsense and The Graduate. The Guild does small cast shows and their home is the Dee Sarno Theatre at the Saratoga Arts Center, 320 Broadway.
On Wednesday, May 25th at 8:00pm, the Guild presents Molly McGrath in a one-woman cabaret, “Songs my Gay Friend Wants Me to Sing!” Ms. McGrath has appeared in many local theatres including HMT, Stillwater Players, and Not So Common Players, and last summer played the title character in Park Playhouse’s main stage production of Annie Get Your Gun.
A portion of the evening’s profits will go to the Trevor Project, and the cabaret is dedicated to the memory of long time local actor Robert Durden.
