Many people head to Hannaford just before a day at the track to pick up items for tailgates or picnics, now you can also purchase baseball caps, sun visors, water bottles and stainless steel travel mugs all with the Saratoga Race Course logo along with your food!
According to New York Racing Association President, Charles Hayward, the effort is more about promoting the racing season than about boosting revenues. It seems as though Saratoga Race Course and Hannaford have put together a perfectly convenient deal for families.
Keep in mind the more popular red caps with white lettering are now exclusively sold at Hannaford! All hats, visors and mugs are $14.99 a piece, and water bottles are $9.99.
These items will be available for the duration of the 143rd season at the track, beginning July 22nd and continuing through Labor Day.
