The musical Wine Lovers has audience members go through the gauntlet of judging good wine: see, swirl, smell, sip and savor six different wines.
The story follows two polar opposite students in a wine-tasting class taught by bubbly-as-champagne Charles Thompson.
Brian Scott is the lovable painter, taking the course alongside know-it-all businesswoman Katherine Reese.
As their teacher endeavors to take the mystery out of wine, the students (and audience!) learn about the reds, the whites, the zinfadels…and oh, a little bit about love.
The Opening Night debut was August 9th, but the show will run for two weeks, with weekend matinees. All performances will take place in the Universal Preservation Hall.
