The Adirondack Phantoms recently announced that they will be playing a preseason game at Weibel Arena in Saratoga Springs on September 28th at 7:00pm. All proceeds from the game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will benefit Saratoga Youth Hockey. The Phantoms are happy to help the kids, parents, and coaches in the Saratoga region build a great organization.
Volunteers work very hard to maintain the arena, and are thrilled to have the Phantoms help them out by bringing big-time AHL hockey into their building.
The Phantoms are showing their support for the community and the awesome fans that live there by allowing all tickets to be sold through Saratoga Youth Hockey. All tickets for the game can be purchased exclusively through the snack bar at Weibel Arena. The snack bar is open evenings during the week and all day on the weekends. No tickets for this game will be sold by the Adirondack Phantoms.
There are two additional preseason games before the Phantoms begin their season:
- Saturday, October 1, 7:00pm – Phantoms vs. Albany Devils at Glens Falls Civic Center
- Sunday, October 2, 5:00pm – Phantoms at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins
The Phantoms’ regular season starts on Saturday, October 8th at 7:00pm with their home opener against the Connecticut Whale.
Hockey fans, are you excited for a new season? Do you think the Phantoms will do a little better than last year?
