The Saratoga socialite has long been known for her generous philanthropic efforts in Saratoga. Earlier this year, she made headlines when she announced that she was cancelling her annual glamorous gala and was instead focusing on backstretch workers at the track. 
Never far from the public’s adoring eye, Whitney is back in the spotlight as her face graces the label of The Marylou Whitney Rose Yankee Candle, a project that’s been developing over the past decade!
The scent is based on the Marylou Whitney Rose that was commissioned by Whitney’s husband John Hendrickson, in honor of her 85th birthday. The fragrant, pink tea rose is a cross between Pristine and New Zealand Roses.
