Saratoga: Health, History, Horses and…Having Fun!
Make Candle Collective your family’s favorite new destination for fun this summer!
Saratoga is known for its vast array of family and kid friendly activities, and Candle Collective just made the list as one of the latest must-try places in town!
So kids, put down your iPhones and iPads, pick up some wax, use your imagination, and get creative!
How it works:
Step 1: Choose a shape – make a heart, star, ball, pyramid or any other shape you could imagine
Step 2: Choose your colors – feeling patriotic? or do all the colors catch your eye? mix it up with the colors of your choice
Step 3: Choose your scent – make your candle smell like a flower garden or a freshly baked cinnamon bun, the choice is yours
Step 4: Choose the size – big or small it’s up to you, get creative with shapes and sizes, breaking up the wax to however you see fit
Step 5: Pour! – the Candle Collective staff will help you put the finishing touches on your new candle creation by pouring the hot wax over your design to make it complete
Express your inner-artist while customizing your candle down to its very scent, colors, and shape, then “craft and carry” away your own work of art!
Show off your newly-crafted candle, or newly-purchased candle from their large selection of retail candles with a fun display! Candle Collective offers a wide variety of displays for every kind of candle at all different price ranges.
Candle Collective is a unique creating studio with its main goal focusing on offering a fun experience in an inspiring atmosphere giving its customers the ability,” to create and design their very own candles in a comfortable and leisurely setting.”
The idea of this crafty, candle-making studio originally sparked interest in owners Morgan Boswell and Lyle Farren while working on a DIY holiday gift. They saw an opportunity for their new interest to become a fun reality and opened their create-your-own-candle studio, Candle Collective in the beginning of March 2014, located in the Factory Building Complex, at 20 Prospect Street, Suite 214, Ballston Spa, NY.
“Morgan Boswell has built a business by putting a modern, hip and fresh spin on candle making,” praises the popular, local blog, Saratoga Mama.
The couple have built an environment that nurtures creativity and openness among its customers, allowing for creative interaction. The studio offers a great family-friendly environment encouraging its clients to be expressive in their art work.
Whether you’re looking to craft your own candles, or pick out some ready-to-go, beautifully-made candles, Candle Collective offers a unique experience for everyone. Make a day out of it with the kids, attend one of their unique classes like Family Night, or have them host your next private party or event!
