This seems to be the season of accolades for us in Saratoga Springs and we are excited to announce that we have just received one more. I can’t say that I’m surprised but… SPAC has been named the best outdoor music venue in the United States!

Over the last month, USA Today asked its readers to vote for their favorite outdoor music venue from a group of 20 nominees. And, the people have spoken: Our very own SPAC has won people’s hearts from all over the country.
USA Today describes SPAC as a “cultural hub” that hosts myriad performances including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York City Ballet and of course, the incredible line-up of musicians that perform live there each summer.
And, it’s not just concert go-ers who love SPAC! Check out what Dave Matthews Band has to say about playing in Saratoga:
Do you have a favorite memory at SPAC? Are you planning on attending any concerts this summer? If not, start making your plans now to catch a live performance at the country’s best outdoor music venue!

SPAC voted best outdoor venue in the US..? Really? What swayed the vote?
Was it all the over-sold shows so crowded you can’t move…was it the gigantic concrete building full of corporate food vendors charging $12 for a hot dog that blocks the sound from reaching the back lawn (remember the old days when you could sit all the way back to the fence and still hear a great show), or was it the mile long lines for the women’s restrooms (a situation designed for maximum torture). No wait – it must have been the “beer garden”, cramming everyone wanting a $15 can of beer into a giant pigpen like lepers.
No it’s the outrageous ticket prices to keep them in the black…
I can’t agree with you more Richard. This place is a dump now. just came back from the DMB concert this weekend and I don’t know what I hate more SPAC or LEE’s camp ground. Never again!!!
“beer garden” = gone
