The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has announced that it will offer free grandstand and clubhouse admission to all Saratoga Race Course guests on Saratoga Centennial Day – Wednesday, August 5.

In addition to free admission, NYRA will also offer a number of other promotions to celebrate the occasion. This will include a performance by select members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, a formal cake cutting to honor the centennial, special track decor, and other events and activities in the Saratoga Pavilion.
In a statement about Saratoga Centennial Day at Saratoga Race Course, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce President Todd Shimkus said, “It’s not often you turn 100 years old, and it only happens once, so it’s only fitting that we celebrate by opening the gates to let everyone in to see the best racing, the best horses, and the best jockeys anywhere in the world on this special day.”
Those who have already purchased a reserved seat for Saratoga Centennial Day will receive a $5 refund for admission with each grandstand reserved seat or an $8 refund for admission with each clubhouse reserved seats. Grandstand season pass holders who attend the races on August 5 will receive a $1 refund for admission, while clubhouse season pass holders will be credited with a $2 refund. Season seat plan holders will receive the same refund as season pass holders.
