Do you have your tickets for the Travers Celebration? If not, it’s not too late! The annual gala will serve as the official party of the Travers and will be held in support of the Backstretch Employee Service Team, Saratoga Warhorse and the Times Union Hope Fund.
The Travers Celebration will be held at Saratoga National Golf Course on Thursday, August 27th at 7:00 PM. This year’s event will honor owner Magalen O. Bryant, trainer Jimmy Jerkens and jockey Javier Castellano.
Presented by NYRA and sponsored by AstraZeneca, Coors Light, Kendall-Jackson, Ketel One Vodka and Maserati of Albany, the event will begin with outdoor cocktails followed by a seated dinner catered by Mazzone Hospitality at 8:00 PM. There will also be a silent auction and entertainment provided by the Times Square Orchestra.
The Backstretch Employee Service Team is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care to employees in the backstretch. Saratoga WarHorse offers veterans a three-day experience that has been proven to be invaluable for those struggling to adjust to life after military service. The Times Union Hope Fund is a component fund of The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Regions that raises money and awards grants to after school and summer programs serving at risk children in the area.
