1. Saratoga Springs Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
Thursday, May 26
The local Saratoga Springs Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony will begin at 6:30PM at the corner of Union Avenue and Nelson Avenue. It will follow Union to Regent Street, and then end at Greenridge Cemetery. The parade will feature local organizations, marching bands from across Saratoga County, and classic cars.
2. Memorial Day Parades
Friday, May 27 – Monday, May 30
For those of you who live outside of Saratoga Springs, there will be Memorial Day parades in South Glens Falls, Greenwich, Ballston Spa, Stillwater, Lake George, and Bethlehem.

3. GottaGetGon Family Folk Music Festival
Friday, May 27 – Sunday, May 29
The Folk Music Festival is an annual music event run by the Pickin’ & Singin’ Gatherin,’ a local folk music club. The family friendly festival will feature three days of folk music, from morning to night.
4. The Battenkill Runs Through It Festival
Saturday, May 28
The Battenkill Runs Through It Festival is an annual beach, music, and food festival to kick off the summer season at the Greenwich Town Beach. Featuring a lineup of local musicians, water-related activities, and food, the festival promises fun for the whole family.
5. Historic Walking Tour of North Broadway with Derby Tours & Hollis Palmer
Saturday, May 28
This Saturday, Derby Tours of Saratoga will provide guided walking tours of North Broadway. Starting at 2:00PM, each tour will take two hours. Don’t miss this chance to learn about the families who built North Broadway’s Victorian houses.
6. School of the Arts Showcase
Saturday, May 28 & Sunday, May 29
The School of the Arts is performing its 2016 Showcase at the Spa Little Theater. The Showcase is an eclectic mix of ballet, belly dance, pointe, modern and contemporary dance, and more! There will be a special performance of the ballet “Paquita.”
7. Teens & Adults! Maggie Stiefvater – The Raven King
Saturday, May 28
Northshire Bookstore has a special event lined up for this Saturday. Popular young adult author Maggie Stiefvater will give a presentation on her new book The Raven King, and after, people can purchase her books and have them signed.
8. 12th Annual Saratoga Lions Club Duathlon
Sunday, May 29
The 12th Annual Saratoga Lions Club Memorial Weekend Duathlon features a 5k run, a 30k bike ride, and then another 5k run. The event can be done alone, or in a two or three person team. Registration ends May 27 at 11:59PM!
9. Stay the Course Veteran’s Benefit Bike (bicycle) Ride
Monday, May 30
The Veteran’s Benefit Bike Ride will begin in Broadalbin and include views of Sacandaga Lake. You can take a ride on the more advanced 30-mile loop for $30 or try the shorter 10-mile loop for $10. The ride is free for all veterans!
10. Hattie’s Annual Crawfish Festival
Monday, May 30
Join Hattie’s on Memorial Day at 11:00AM for their annual Crawfish Festival! Crawfish will be available by the pound for $15.95 with sides, and the festival will feature live music.
