The 75-year-old hot spot of Saratoga is undergoing a complete rebranding.
The Saratoga Casino and Raceway has unveiled their new name going forward: Saratoga Casino Hotel.
The name change comes about as a more accurate representation of the establishment, which is soon opening a 117-room hotel. The hotel was part of a $40 million expansion and will feature luxury rooms and suites. Amenities include Morton’s The Steakhouse, Perks Café, indoor resort pool with spa whirlpool, outdoor terrace, fitness center, and a sub-dividable ballroom for private events.
The hotel’s prime rooms and suites are named after the raceway’s founders and longtime president: Roland Harriman, Dunbar Bostwick, and Ernest Morris. The suites feature large bay windows, with many overlooking the harness track.
Guests will be able to watch and wager on live harness racing from every room in the hotel, really speaking to the uniqueness of the casino Saratoga has enjoyed for so many years.
“The addition of the hotel and its amenities. . .creates an entertainment experience unmatched in the region,” Rita Cox, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Saratoga Casino Hotel said in a statement. “Our new brand is a product of this transformation, highlighting that we are a complete entertainment destination within the already world famous tourist destination that is Saratoga Springs.”
In the upcoming weeks we can expect to see revamped TV spots, radio ads, billboards, and even a newly designed website.
More than 100 new jobs are being created as a result of the casino’s addition and subsequent transformation, and they’re holding a job fair on May 16th. The job fair will be inside Vapor from 2PM to 6PM, with information on available positions such as hotel front desk staff, room attendants, and more. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted for probable candidates.
The all new hotel and Morton’s The Steakhouse will be opening this summer, and reservations are available now at saratogacasino.com.
