1. Saratoga Polo Association Tournament
Friday, July 8 & Sunday, July 10
Starting on July 8, the Saratoga Polo Association’s 2016 season will run through September 4. There will be polo matches every Friday and Sunday evening at Whitney Field or adjacent fields. This week, matches will take place on July 8 and July 10.
2. 50th Anniversary Community Picnic at SPAC
Friday, July 8
In celebration of SPAC’s 50th anniversary and its first opening night on July 8, 1966, there will be a Community Picnic on SPAC’s lawn. The special picnic event will be accompanied by a new SPAC education program, followed by an Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performance.
3. Circus Smirkus
Friday, July 8 & Saturday, July 9
Circus Smirkus is an acclaimed international youth circus, and this year, the theme is “Up, HUP, and Away!” There will be two shows on both Friday and Saturday, and performances will take place at the Saratoga Casino Hotel’s outdoor polo field.
4. ParkFest 2016 at Gavin Park
Saturday, July 9
Held at Gavin Park, ParkFest is the Town of Wilton’s annual community day. This year will feature a variety of entertainment, such as Benny & The Jets, pony rides, a classic car show, fireworks, and more.
5. Frances Day at the Tang Teaching Museum
Saturday, July 9
In honor of the museum’s namesake, the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum will open its doors to the public for a day of free events, including a scavenger hunt, workshops, and a photography walking tour.
6. BMW Lawn Show at the Saratoga Automobile Museum
Saturday, July 9
Stop by the Saratoga Automobile Museum on Saturday and check out the BMW show and silent auction on the museum’s lawn. The event is a celebration of older BMWs and the 100th year of BMW as an automobile constructor.
7. Soroptimist of Saratoga 22nd Annual Secret Gardens Tour
Sunday, July 10
Presented by Soroptimist International of Saratoga County, this year’s 22nd annual self-guided Secret Gardens Tour will be highlighted by a semi-formal English garden, a butterfly house, and water features in both rural and urban environments.
