For the adventurous:
Mountain Ridge Adventures is a brand new treetop challenge and adventure course located in Glenville, just about half an hour away from Saratoga. You can choose to partake in the treetop adventure course – an exciting and challenging obstacle course among the trees – or you can try out their zip line, which is a less physically demanding but equally as thrilling adventure.
For the curious:
Have you ever toyed around with the idea of playing croquet? Now is your chance! The Annual Croquet on the Green tournament and garden party is being held on Tuesday at 3pm on the AIM Lawn in Saratoga. It’s open to all ages, abilities, and skills, with prizes awarded for the top winners. Prices are $100 per croquet team of two, or $40 for the garden party only.
For the family:
Glenville Sportsplex, 30 minutes from Saratoga, is a family-owned, family-oriented place with mini golf, go-karts, bumper cars, batting cages, a basketball court, ice cream, and more. It’s the perfect outing for the whole family during the summer – you will definitely find a variety of fun activities to partake in here.
For those seeking relaxation:
Amy Kirkpatrick Rosen is leading a guided meditation class at 7pm at the National Museum of Dance right in Saratoga. If you’re looking for a break from the all the hectic activity at the track, this is the event for you. While you’re there, check out the amazing exhibits this unique museum has to offer.
For the history buffs:
Saratoga is full of history you can check out on your own – our participate in this guided walking tour, only $8 for adults and children are free. This 90-minute walking tour goes through Congress Park – you’ll have a chance to taste the famous mineral waters while learning about the colorful characters of Saratoga. The group will meet at 10:30am at the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center on Broadway.
