Since his America’s Got Talent audition, local Saratoga magician Steven Brundage has dazzled viewers with a wide array of fascinating Rubik’s Cube tricks. Despite being a fan favorite Wild Card contestant, Brundage was eliminated from the competition yesterday and won’t advance to the finals.

Despite his surprise elimination from America’s Got Talent, Brundage has a bright future ahead of him. He’s already performed in front of thousands of people in Upstate New York, and just last year, he fooled acclaimed magicians Penn & Teller on national TV.
Brundage’s America’s Got Talent journey began with a successful audition in which he received four “Yes” votes from the judges. He then performed in the Judge Cuts round but wasn’t selected to move on.
Many of Brundage’s fans were shocked by this early elimination and rallied behind him. A petition to bring him back reached over 2,660 signatures, and for the quarterfinals, the show’s judges and producers chose Brundage as one of their three Wild Card picks to return to the competition.
Brundage made it through the quarterfinals, but after the semifinals on Tuesday, September 6, he was at risk of elimination. During the elimination show yesterday, either Brundage or juggler Viktor Kee would move on to the finals.
After a 2-2 split between the judges, the contestant moving on was chosen by an online fan vote. At the end of the show, Kee moved on and Brundage was eliminated.
Although he won’t be competing for the show’s $1 million grand prize, Steven Brundage is still a one-of-a-kind talent who will continue to entertain people with an abundance of unique magic tricks. We can’t wait to see what he’ll do next!
