The Flurry Festival – Friday, February 17 – Sunday, February 19
The 30th annual Flurry Festival will take place this weekend at multiple venues in Saratoga Springs. This music and dance festival will feature over 300 performers and 200 events. Ticket prices vary.
22nd Annual Ballston Spa Winter Fun Festival – Saturday, February 18
The 22nd annual Ballston Spa Winter Fun Festival is scheduled to take place this Saturday from 11:00am-8:00pm. Enjoy live music, crafts, games, food, and sledding (snow dependent).
Longfellows Wedding Show – Sunday, February 19
Are you a recently engaged couple? Register for Longfellows’ annual Wedding Show happening this Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm. There will be a Wedding Breakfast Workshop, a Tasting Room, and more. Admission is free, but registration is required.
Live Racing Opening Day – Sunday, February 19
Sunday is Opening Day for Saratoga Casino Hotel’s 76th season of live racing! Stop by for the post time of 12:15pm and watch some horse racing.
Rogue Sled Winterfest – Sunday, February 19
Hudson Crossing Park in Schuylerville is hosting their annual Winterfest this Sunday! The theme is Star Wars, so activities will include a bonfire with UFOs, a Rogue Sled-inspired snow sculpture contest, and others. Don’t forget to bring your “flying saucer” sled.
Last Call for Ice Bars
Fire & Ice Days at The Mill/Ice Bar – Friday, February 17 & Saturday, February 18
It’s the final weekend of the Mill on Round Lake’s 30 foot ice bar! Come by, order up a specialty drink, and check out the ice sculpture shuffleboard.
Prime Polar Ice Bar & Lounge – Friday, February 17 & Saturday, February 18
Unfortunately, unless you’ve already purchased your ticket to Prime at Saratoga National’s Polar Ice Bar & Lounge, you will not be able to attend; tickets are sold out. Be sure to check early next year to see if the ice bar will return.
Family-Friendly Weekend Fun
Free Fishing Weekend in New York State – Saturday, February 18 & Sunday, February 19
Get ready for the first Free Fishing Weekend of 2017 in New York State! During these two days, a fishing license will not be required for NYS residents and non-residents.
Take a Friend Snowmobiling – Saturday, February 18
Try out snowmobiling at Hudson Crossing Park’s Take a Friend Snowmobiling event on Saturday from 10:30am-3:30pm. Adults age 18 and older can take a snowmobile ride, and children are welcome to ride on a sled operated by a parent, guardian, or an experienced snowmobile club member.
President’s Day Party – Monday, February 20
The Children’s Museum at Saratoga will host a President’s Day Party on Monday from 10:00am-12:00pm. This event is for ages 3 and up, and it will feature crafts, patriotic snacks, and more. Admission is $8 per person, and children under 1 get in for free.
Winter Vacation Programs with Camp Saratoga – Monday, February 20 – Friday, February 24
From February 20 through February 24, Camp Saratoga will host a variety of fun programs at a few different locations. Program highlights include an Animal Tracking Hike and a Winter Nature Scavenger Hunt. Pre-registration is required, so don’t delay!
