It’s time for spring break, for the kids that is! For many of the region’s schools, Easter weekend is the kickoff for an extended recess. Make Easter Sunday easy for yourself and plan on eating out in the Saratoga area. Many local restaurants are offering special Easter meals throughout the day, but you’ll want to make your reservation ASAP before all the seats are filled.

Kids Art: Egg Decorating – Friday, April 14
Bring the kids over to Serendipity Arts Studio this Friday for a fun Easter egg decorating class. The arts studio will provide the eggs and dyeing techniques. Registration is required, and the cost to attend is $25.
Open Art Studio Time Special – Saturday, April 15
All ages are welcome to attend Art In Mind Creative Wellness Studio’s Open Art Studio Time Special – Paint an Easter Chick or Bunny. This Easter-themed art class costs just $12, and no reservations are required.
Saratoga Farmers’ “Easter” Market – Saturday, April 15
The Saratoga Farmers’ Market at the Lincoln Baths will host a special Easter Market from 9:00am-1:00pm this Saturday. In addition to everything you need for the perfect Easter meal, the market will also feature Easter-themed activities for the kids and live music.
9th Annual Great Schuylerville Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 15
It’s finally time for the 9th annual Great Schuylerville Egg Hunt! Hosted by Faith Chapel Church, the egg hunt will take place at the Schuylerville High School Turf Field at 11:00am. Kids and adults will be able to participate.
Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs – Saturday, April 15 & Sunday, April 16
Bring your dog over to Hudson Crossing Park in Schuylerville for a fun Easter egg hunt. For this hunt, the eggs will be filled with treats provided by the Lazy Dog Cookie Company. Eggs will be hidden throughout the weekend.

Saratoga Arts will host the 2017 Behemoth Short Film Festival this Saturday. The Behemoth Short Film Festival showcases the best up and coming cinematic talents from around the world. The first screening will take place at 6:30pm, and the second will begin at 8:30pm.

Help support Code Blue Saratoga and participate in the Blue Needs You 8K Run at High Rock Park this Saturday. The 8K will begin at 8:30am, and registration is capped at 600 runners.
