The holiday season is in full swing in Saratoga Springs! Although the buzz around Black Friday is over, there are still plenty of things to do throughout the region. From the annual Saratoga Festival of Trees to local shows and sales, here are some of the weekend’s top events!
Family-Friendly Holiday Activities
The magical Saratoga Festival of Trees is happening now at the Saratoga Springs City Center. Stop by and tour over 250 beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces, and other holiday items. Admission varies each day of the event. There will also be special events going on all weekend long.
Don’t miss out on the 13th Annual Saratoga County Winter Restaurant Week! During this event, participating restaurants will feature a three-course dinner menu for just $10, $20, or $30 plus tax and tip. Some places will even offer lunch specials too.
Check out the annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting in Ballston Spa this Friday starting at 6:30pm. The parade will begin on Milton Avenue and end in Wiswall Park on Front Street where Santa will light the community’s Christmas tree.
From 11:00am-1:00pm, the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will host a Holiday Open House for families! The event will include free museum admission, sales on select gift shop items, photos with Santa, and a children’s book reading.
This weekend, fifteen artists in Washington County will open their studios as part of the 27th Annual Christmas in the Country. Enjoy shopping, live music, refreshments, and more at the various stops.

The National in downtown Saratoga will host their Allen Edmonds Trunk Show on Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Enjoy 20% off any Allen Edmonds purchase, giveaways, snacks, and more.
Visit the Saratoga Springs City Center on Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm for the 2017 Saratoga Fair Trade Market Expo! Admission is free, and this expo will be an easy way for the community to skip the busy shopping malls and purchase gift items from local vendors.
Holiday Music & Entertainment
On Saturday, Saratoga Children’s Theatre will present their Blue Christmas Fundraiser at Saratoga Music Hall. The show will feature a light dinner, an Elvis tribute artist, and more. Tickets are $40 for adults, $35 for seniors, and $15 for students.
Join Caffe Lena for a great holiday concert by The Wynotte Sisters on Sunday at 7:00pm. All three members possess very distinct voices, and they will be performing original material and some genre-crossing covers that will capture the spirit of the holidays.
