The Adelphi Hospitality Group recently announced that highly regarded Chef David Burke has joined The Adelphi Hotel and Salt & Char as Culinary Director. He’s overseeing all food and beverage operations at the two establishments, which includes The Blue Hen and Morrissey’s Lounge.
“Chef Burke and I have a longstanding business relationship and friendship, so it is with great pride and confidence that we welcome him to our family in Saratoga Springs,” Larry Roth, Co-Owner of Adelphi Hospitality Group, said in a statement.
Chef Burke is backed by a 30-year career and is considered to be a leader in American cooking today, with a high focus on revolutionary products and cooking techniques.
The Adelphi Hotel is known as the last classic Victorian hotel in Saratoga Springs and prides itself on luxurious accommodations and prime dining options. Chef Burke is working to fine-tune the elevated dining experiences at the restaurants at the hotel and Salt & Char, and he’s working closely with Director of Events Connie Slocum to create exceptional catering menus; he’s also involved in the in-room dining experiences.
