In advance of its 21st annual Saratoga Classic Horse Show, Skidmore College is opening White Hollow Farm, the new 103-acre venue in Stillwater, next month. This beautiful property features eight new riding arenas, horse barns, and much more!
The Grand Opening
Since 1927, the Saratoga Classic has brought nationally recognized horses and riders to Saratoga. Since 1998, it has raised more than $4.5 million for financial aid and scholarships for Skidmore College students.
“With this new facility, we’re investing in the future of the Saratoga Classic horse shows by creating a world-class venue that fulfills our vision and meets the needs of today’s equestrian,” said Adele Einhorn, executive director of the Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show, in a statement. “This competition venue is unlike any other in the region. The sheer size of the facility makes it attractive for riders… The new competition rings are state-of-the-art, with fully engineered drainage and all-weather, high-performance footing.”
Extended from two weeks to three this year, the Saratoga Classic Horse Show will be held on June 13-17, June 20-24, and August 15-18. Events begin every day at 8 AM (7:30 AM on June 17 and June 24), and the public is welcome to attend.
White Hollow Farm is located at 28 Brickhouse Road in Stillwater, New York.
