This Thursday, August 30, the Tang’s free Upbeat on the Roof concert series will be wrapping up for the summer. Don’t miss the Arthur Brooks Ensemble V as they play out another great season of music on the rooftop!

About the Ensemble
Led by composer and trumpeter Arthur Brooks, the Arthur Brooks Ensemble V was founded in 1973 at Bennington College. The group’s current members have performed both nationally and internationally, combining improvisation with composition for a unique jazz sound. Their performance on Thursday will mark their Upbeat debut.
Looking forward to a night of jazz? The event will kick off at 7 PM on the Tang’s rooftop, which can be accessed via the museum’s elevator or outdoor staircases. Seats tend to fill up quickly, so make sure you arrive early! In case of inclement weather, the jazz ensemble will play on inside the museum.
About the Tang
