Don’t Miss Closing Week at Saratoga Race Course
One of the highlights of this final week of racing at the Track will be the annual Woodward Day on Saturday. This outstanding day of racing will include multiple stakes races: the GI Woodward, GI Spinaway, GIII Saranac, and GII Glens Falls. Place your bets!
Love free stuff? Of course you do! On Sunday, Saratoga Race Course will be giving away a red and black Saratoga windbreaker to each person with paid admission to the Track (while supplies last).
This coming Monday is the last day of racing of Saratoga Race Course’s 2018 meet, so don’t miss it! The Grade 1, $350,000 Hopeful for 2-year-olds will be the final feature race, giving racing fans an early look at some potential contenders for next year’s Triple Crown series and Travers Stakes.

Located at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds just 20 miles outside Saratoga Springs, the Schaghticoke Fair is New York State’s third oldest fair. Enjoy Exciting Horse-Related Events
Experience a piece of the Old West right here in Ballston Spa at the Double M Rodeo! This Friday will be the final rodeo of the season, so if you haven’t witnessed bull riding, cattle roping, or any of the other exciting competitions yet, then plan a visit with the family. The gates open at 6:00pm, and the rodeo begins at 8:00pm.
Saratoga Polo Association’s 2018 season will come to a close this weekend, but you’ll have an opportunity to see their final polo matches on both Friday and Sunday evening. Drive over to Whitney Field/adjacent fields in nearby Greenfield Center and cheer on the competitors in the Polo Hall of Fame Tournament.
