Held at beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park, this three-day festival has it all: classic cars, good food, tasty wines, and more. Now in its 12th year, The Cheese Tour is a self-guided celebration of handmade cheeses and the farms that produce them in Washington County. However, in recent years, the tour has expanded to also feature local winemakers and brewers. Visit the participating farms and producers for samplings, special products, and memorable experiences in the countryside.
Celebrate National Grandparents Day
What better way is there to spend National Grandparents Day than attending the Saratoga Grandparents Day event? Hosted by The Wesley Community at the Saratoga Springs City Center, this family-friendly event will be tons of fun for all ages. Event highlights include carnival style games and treats, face painting, a magician, and more.
Challenge Yourself to the Obstacle Course
Whether you enjoy running or obstacle courses, the annual Insane Inflatable 5K Run at Ellms Family Farm is one event you won’t want to miss this season. Featuring a variety of extreme inflatable obstacles, this fun and wild race will take place on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30am. Participants will run in waves, so pick the time that works best for you!
Attend a Free Community Event
Bring the kids over to Wiswall Park in Ballston Spa on Friday night for a free moving screening of “Coco!” The film will be shown outdoors at approximately 8:00pm.
Show your hometown pride and support the local area by going to this year’s Malta Community Day, which will be held at Shenantaha Park in Malta. The festive day will include musical entertainment, activities for the kids, food for sale, business and non-profit booths, and more. Admission is free.

Can’t get enough of all the car shows happening in the region this weekend? Plan a trip up to the shores of Lake George for the 2018 Adirondack Nationals Car Show. There will be a kick-off party, vendor area, classic cars on display, and other special events.
Starting at 11:00am on Sunday, a Car, Truck & Jeep Show will be held at Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa. The show is free for spectators to attend, so bring the whole family! Enjoy door prizes, raffles, music, food, and more.
