Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Saratoga National Historical Park – Saturday, November 10
In recognition of Veterans Day, Saratoga National Historical Park in Stillwater will host a small living history event from 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday. A commemoration ceremony honoring all branches of the US military will take place at 1:30pm at the visitors center.
Veterans Day Ceremony at Maplewood Cemetery – Sunday, November 11
This Sunday, don’t miss the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Maplewood Cemetery in Saratoga Springs. Gurtler Brothers VFW Post 420 will provide a short memorial service at the cemetery at 11:00am.

Join Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) on Friday night as they present the 7th Annual Celebration of H.O.P.E. Gala at Saratoga National. This fundraiser event will feature fantastic hors d’oeuvres, gourmet food stations, and delicious desserts and drinks. The special guest MC for the gala will be Steve Caporizzo.
Support Our Veterans Comedy Night – Saturday, November 10
Head over to Nostalgia in Malta for their special comedy show to support the area’s veterans. The price of admission is $15, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition.
A Night of Laughs – The Not Too Far From Home Comedy Tour – Saturday, November 10
Ready to have fun on Saturday night? Get your tickets to the fundraising comedy show at the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs! Dinner will be held at 6:00pm, and then the show will start at 8:00pm. Funds raised will benefit After the Fire, a nonprofit organization that helps victims of fire in Saratoga County.
Barnes & Noble Bookfair to Benefit Adirondack Folk School – Saturday, November 10
On Saturday, Barnes & Noble in Saratoga Springs will host a bookfair to benefit the Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne. During the event, a portion of proceeds from customer purchases will go towards supporting the folk school and its programs.
