St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Highlights
Call your friends, find your favorite green shirt, and get ready for an unforgettable pub crawl in downtown Saratoga this Saturday. The annual LepraCON will bring pub crawlers to a variety of Spa City bars where they can enjoy drink specials. The cost to participate is $20, which will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The Saratoga Winery will be hosting a festive St. Paddy’s Party on Saturday night featuring live music by Funk Evolution, Irish beer and cocktails, corned beef and cabbage, and more. A $10 cover charge gets you in the door for the party, but it’s recommended to buy your ticket in advance.
Once again, it’s time to wake up in the morning and visit The Saratoga City Tavern during their annual Kegz n Eggz event. This St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza will feature live music all day, food and drink specials, and even a face painter. The first 100 people through the door will receive a free St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt.
The Parting Glass in downtown Saratoga has all kinds of entertainment and specials planned for St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t miss the Irish stepdancers at 12:00pm, Forthlin Road at 3:00pm, and Kilashandra at 8:00pm.
Make your way to Saratoga Lake on Sunday afternoon and have fun at Dock Brown’s Lakeside Tavern’s St. Patrick’s Day Party. You can listen to live music from 2:00pm-5:00pm, take advantage of great drink specials, and fill up on corned beef and cabbage all day.
Harvey’s Restaurant and Bar in Saratoga Springs will be in full celebration mode on St. Patrick’s Day. Join them for live music from 8:00pm-11:00pm, shot promotions, a pour your own pint of Guinness station, and more festivities.
Enjoy All Things Maple at the Farmers’ Market
Not only is it St. Patrick’s Day weekend, but maple sugaring season is underway in New York State. Head over to the Saratoga Farmers’ Market at their Lincoln Baths Building location and celebrate Maple Day this Saturday. There will be an abundance of maple products, maple syrup at sugar house pricing, a maple-themed story time for the kids, and other events.
Sip & Support Great Causes
Looking for something fun to do on Friday evening? Take a trip to the Governor’s Taphouse in Round Lake as the Twin Bridges Rotary host Bartending for a Cause. Twin Bridges bartenders will be on duty from 6:00pm-9:00pm, and tips will be used to support local charitable endeavors. Plus, the $10 admission fee gets you appetizers to pair with your drinks.
Racing City Brewing Company is celebrating their one-year anniversary with a party at their tasting room on Excelsior Avenue in Saratoga. Stop by for live music from the North & South Dakotas, amazing food, and fantastic drinks. Admission is a $10 suggested donation for B.E.S.T.
