Spring is an amazing time of year to visit the Saratoga area! With warmer temperatures already becoming the norm, there’s no reason not to get out and have fun. We’ve highlighted some of the top events and activities going on this weekend around the region.

Outdoor Activities at Saratoga Spa State Park – Friday, March 29 – Sunday, March 31
This weekend, the Creekside Classroom at Saratoga Spa State Park will present a variety of fun events. On Friday morning, there will be a free Nature Scavenger Hunt from 10:00am-12:00pm. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, visitors can enjoy a Mineral Springs Tour and Nature Hike through the park. (Note: Some outdoor events may be weather dependent; call ahead if you’re unsure)

Experience Saratoga’s Diverse Music & Arts Scene
Spend your Friday night sipping wines, eating wood fired pizza, and listening to live music by Dos Amigos at The Saratoga Winery & Tasting Room. Wood fired pizza will be available from 5:00pm-9:00pm, and Dos Amigos will perform from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
On Saturday night at 8:00pm, local band Fenimore Blues will take the stage at The Parting Glass in downtown Saratoga. Dinner and drink specials will be offered, and reservations are recommended. The cost to attend the concert is $5.
Popular local country band Skeeter Creek will be performing live at Vapor Nightclub this Saturday night! The doors will open at 8:00pm, and happy hour specials will be offered from 8:00pm-9:00pm. There will be no cover charge.
Take a trip to New Skete Monasteries in Cambridge and enjoy a wonderful concert by composer/pianists Joel Feigin and Haskell Small. There is no admission fee for this concert, but advanced tickets are required as seating is limited.
Help Raise Funds for Great Causes
Drive over to the Round Lake Community Room in Round Lake this Saturday and check out the tasty Cookie Smackdown Fundraiser. For $15, you will get a box full of cookies by local bakers to take home, taste, and vote for the most beautiful and most delicious. The best cookie in Round Lake will be awarded the Golden Spatula trophy!
Support the Saratoga County Historical Society this Saturday by dressing to impress at The Masquerade. This fun evening of music, costumes, and entertainment will take place at the historic Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Attendees can wear 19th century style clothing, creative masquerade costumes, or other formal wear.
Explore the Annual Woodworkers Showcase
The 28th Annual Northeast Woodworkers Showcase at the Saratoga Springs City Center is a great opportunity to see over 600 exhibits reflecting the art of woodworking, from fine furniture and carvings to sculptures, toys, accessories, and more. The weekend will also include lectures and woodworking demonstrations, numerous national and regional trade vendors, and live bluegrass music on Saturday.
