Although the end of April is right around the corner, some of Saratoga’s best spring events are happening this coming weekend. Whether you’re a classic car enthusiast, a lover of fine wines, or a comic book fan, there’s an event that’s perfect for you.
Friday, April 26th
Attention all wine lovers! Wine Time Fest at the Saratoga Springs City Center will feature unlimited wine samples for one low price on Friday night. General admission is $40, and VIP admission is $65 and includes a special one-hour Champagne Spree.
Due to the weather, the Tang Party has been postponed to April 30. However, the Tang Teaching Museum will still present Tangwaves and the Handmade Pop-Up Shop on Friday, April 26.
Saturday, April 27th
This weekend, Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company will host the 2019 Saratoga Paddlefest & Outdoor Expo. Highlights will include hundreds of brand name canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and whitewater boats, free demonstrations and clinics, the opportunity to test paddle, and more.
Saratoga Comic Con presented by Chase Con will return to the Saratoga Springs City Center on Saturday and Sunday. If you enjoy gaming, anime, sci-fi & fantasy, comic books, or even cosplay, then this annual convention has something for you.
Plan a trip to the Town of Hadley in northern Saratoga County and enjoy their 17th Annual Maple in April Festival. The event will offer fun for the whole family, from breakfast and maple cotton candy to vendors, arts and crafts, and a car show. Admission is free, and the festival will be presented by the Hadley Business Association.
On Independent Bookstore Day, Northshire Bookstore in downtown Saratoga will be featuring limited edition items for sale, refreshments, activities, and more from 10:00am-7:00pm. There will also be an Elephant & Piggie Story Time at 11:00am and a birds of prey demonstration from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
Give back to the community and volunteer during Sustainable Saratoga’s 9th Annual Tree Toga tree planting event on Saturday. Volunteers of all ages can join up with Sustainable Saratoga to plant 30 new trees in the Spa City. The event will kick off in High Rock Park at 9:30am.
The Saratoga Farmers’ Market will be celebrating the season at their 4th Annual Spring Festival on Saturday at the Lincoln Baths Building. Join them from 9:00am-1:00pm for workshops, live music, family-friendly fun, and delicious food. The workshops will be free to attend, and no registration is required.
Sunday, April 28th
If you’re a fan of classic cars, then head over to Dock Brown’s on Saratoga Lake this Sunday for their annual Spring Car Show. Check out all the cool cars parked outside the restaurant, and then step inside for food specials and great craft beers.
