Friday, May 10th
Located just eight miles from downtown Saratoga, White Hollow Farm will be the site of Skidmore College’s Saratoga Spring II Horse Show this week. Featuring some of the country’s top equestrian competitors, this premier horse show will run from May 8 through May 12.
Join Soroptimist International of Saratoga County at their annual Garden Party at Sunnyside Gardens. From 5:30pm-7:30pm, guests can enjoy a complimentary Wine and Cheese party, live music, raffles, and more. A percentage of proceeds from garden purchases and raffles will benefit Soroptimist programs.
Saturday, May 11th
Bring your furry friend with you to Impressions of Saratoga on Saturday for their 15th Annual Dog Day. Highlights will include treat tastings, a coloring contest, pup-themed games, and more festive fun from 11:00am-2:00pm. Admission is free.
Support the Saratoga Springs Recreation Department by taking part in a fun-filled Craft Beer Bar Crawl throughout downtown Saratoga. The annual event will feature beer and mixed drink specials at multiple hotspots, raffles and giveaways, and more. Tickets cost just $30.
The City of Saratoga Springs has a rich architectural heritage, and a wonderful way to learn more is by taking the Historic Homes Tour. On the Saturday of Mother’s Day Weekend, the 2019 Historic Homes Tour will be held in Saratoga’s East Side Neighborhood and feature a variety of historic properties. You can purchase tickets to this self-guided tour in advance or on the day of the event.
Get ready to sail into summer at The Wesley Foundation’s annual gala, which will be presented by The Adirondack Trust Company at The Lodge at Saratoga Casino Hotel. This year’s nautical themed evening will offer excitement and elegance, live music, a silent auction with packages from around the area, and more. Proceeds raised from the gala will benefit The Wesley Community.
The Schuylerville Library will host a National Train Day celebration on Saturday from 11:00am-1:00pm. Families are welcome to come aboard and enjoy crafts, snacks, and train-themed activities.
It’s time for the Saratoga Automobile Museum’s annual Cadillac / Buick Lawn Show in Saratoga Spa State Park. Take a walk around the museum’s lawn and check out all the beautiful GM-made vehicles. This is one event car enthusiasts won’t want to miss!
The Saratoga County 4-H Walkathon is an annual fundraiser that benefits the local Saratoga County 4-H Training Center in Ballston Spa. A minimum donation of $5 is required to participate in the Walkathon in Saratoga Spa State Park, and snacks, drinks, and hot dogs will be provided.

Here in Saratoga Springs, one of the annual highlights of Mother’s Day Weekend is the Kelly’s Angels Mother-Lovin’ 5K in Saratoga Spa State Park. This is a great morning event for both runners and walkers, and funds raised will help local children who have lost a parent to cancer. Each year, the 5K attracts families who’d like to celebrate Mother’s Day while supporting an important cause.
