Experience the Mostly Modern Festival at Skidmore
The 2019 Mostly Modern Festival is underway at Skidmore College! Kick off your weekend with a wonderful concert featuring the beloved American Modern Ensemble. The concert will take place from 7:30pm-10:00pm.
Get your tickets for the Mostly Modern Festival’s Date Nite! Vocal Arias & Art Songs concert on Saturday from 7:30pm-10:00pm. Ten vocalists will showcase what is happening now with vocal music, from avant-garde to post-modern romance.
This afternoon concert at Skidmore College’s Arthur Zankel Music Center will feature the American Modern Orchestra with Ruth Reinhart, Associate Conductor for the Dallas Symphony. The concert will highlight great, classic, and modern hits that are fun for all ages.
Attend Fantastic Festivals & Celebrations
For about 30 years, the Greater Greenwich Chamber of Commerce has presented their annual Whipple City Festival in the Greenwich community. Join them this Friday and Saturday for all kinds of free festivities, from parades and live music to horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, food, and more.
Did you know Carson’s Woodside Tavern has a new patio? Take a trip to the restaurant this Saturday and enjoy their Grand Opening Party. The bar will open at 11:00am, and the event will include live music from The Night Owls and The Audiostars.
Frances Day is the Tang Teaching Museum’s annual summer celebration held in honor of the museum’s namesake, Frances Young Tang. Throughout the afternoon, a wide range of free events will take place at the Tang, including drop-in activities, workshops, gallery tours, live music, and more.
Visit High Rock Park in Saratoga Springs this Sunday for the 5th Annual Saratoga Pride Festival. Saratoga Pride will offer live music, information from community organizations, crafts, photo ops, and more from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Head over to White Hollow Farm in Stillwater this weekend to watch exciting horse show competitions! The Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show I runs through Sunday and features some of the top equestrian competitors from all over North America.
Stop by Racing City Brewing Co. on Saturday at noon and participate in their Cornhole Tournament. The cost is $40 per team, and you’ll have a chance to win cash prizes!
