Editor’s Note: Thank you to Alice Corey of Alice Corey Photography for capturing these wonderful images.
The beautiful Prime at Saratoga National was the setting for Saratoga Bridges 2019 ‘The White Party’ Gala held on Saturday, July 13th. Warm, sunny weather and clear skies greeted the hundreds of gala-goers who arrived to support this wonderful non-profit organization and enjoy one of the Saratoga.com crew’s favorite galas!
Volunteers smoothly checked-in the attendees, while a delicious glass of bubbly was handed out to enjoy while browsing the many silent auction items that followed check-in.

For over 60 years, Saratoga Bridges has provided programs and professional services that promote the abilities and countless achievements of developmentally disabled individuals. Fundraising events like ‘The White Party’ help Saratoga Bridges continue providing services to the community. The auction donors above provided a wonderful assortment of items to bid on and attendees carefully considered their bidding strategies.

There were also paintings available from talented individual and collaborative artists who utilize the Creative Endeavors Arts Center, one of Saratoga Bridges many programs and services.

Immediately outside the tent housing the silent auction items, was a delightful vodka tasting offered by Ketel One Botanicals, one of the presenting season sponsors for the evening. My personal favorite? Grapefruit & Rose.

The talented Benita Zahn, WNYT News Channel 13 Anchor, was the Emcee again this year.

Hold up those paddles! The live auction action begins! Items included a one-week stay in the majestic Vidanta Riviera Resort in Mayan Riviera, Mexico; a one-week stay at Sanibel Island, Florida; a new deck from Curtis Lumber & Homes by Malta Development Co., Inc. and a catered Hattie’s dinner for 6 people to celebrate with upon the deck’s completion; a table for 10 at Saratoga Bridges’ Travers Day at the Races in the Carousel Restaurant; a VIP package to Jason Aldean and Kane Brown at SPAC and ‘Embracing the Spirt’ – a collaborative 2019 mosaic piece created by Tom Myott and artists from Saratoga Bridges’ Creative Endeavors Art Program.

First-time recipients of Saratoga Bridges Community Builders Award — Skidmore College President Phil Glotzbach and his wife Marie.

Cue the music! The always popular GRAVITY got everyone onto the dance floor as the evening continued.

Smile pretty everyone! Here’s to the gala goers all decked in white, and another wonderful night at Saratoga Bridges ‘The White Party’.
