Experience the Holidays in the Saratoga Area
One of the most popular early holiday events in the Saratoga area is the annual Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade in Greenwich. On Saturday evening, dozens of beautifully lighted tractors will travel through Greenwich and get the community into the holiday spirit.
Take a trip to South Glens Falls to see the 40th Annual South Glens Falls Holiday Parade! The theme of this year’s parade is Holiday Music, and it will begin at 1:00pm on Sunday afternoon.
The Made in Round Lake Holiday Market is a gathering of talented local artists and artisans who will be selling their unique handmade items to the public. Join them on Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Round Lake Village Hall.
It’s time for the Tang Teaching Museum’s 17th Annual Make-a-Turkey-Out-of-a-Potato Festival! Your kid will love making turkey-potato art just in time for the holiday. Admission is free, but registration is required.
Don’t miss the Breakfast With Santa at Wilton Mall on Saturday from 8:00am-10:00am. Kids can enjoy a great breakfast, festive music, and a visit with Santa Claus himself. Space is limited, and you must pre register.
Support Local Fundraisers This Holiday Season
This Saturday’s Not Too Far From Home Comedy Tour performance at Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs is a fundraiser for “After the Fire,” a nonprofit organization that helps victims of fire in Saratoga County. Get ready for a night of laughs with comedians Dan Geurin, Moody McCarthy, and Jeremy Goff.
Beatlemore Skidmania is Skidmore College’s annual celebration of The Beatles. Skidmore students will be performing their own interpretations of the band’s songs on Friday and Saturday. As of Thursday, November 21, tickets are selling out fast!
Next Saturday, the 44th Annual Saratoga Holiday Craft Marketplace will be held at the Saratoga Springs City Center from 10:00am-4:30pm. This Marketplace will feature approximately 140 individual artisans selling their wares for the holidays. Stop by on Small Business Saturday and take a look!
